Registration and Payments

To schedule your appointment in our maternity program, we require a non-refundable enrollment fee of $150, which must be submitted at least two weeks before your arrival. This payment reserves your appointment and allows us to provide a letter of acceptance. You can conveniently make this payment via credit card or bank wire transfer. The remaining medical fees will be settled in person upon your arrival in El Paso, Texas.

As a private medical practice serving self-pay patients, all financial arrangements for obstetrical care are completed during the initial consultation, prior to the delivery of medical services. We do not extend credit or bill after services have been rendered. This policy ensures that each patient’s medical care is privately funded and that no outstanding balance remains after delivery. We operate by appointment only and are unable to accommodate walk-in patients.

Obstetrics and Gynecological Care

Our team of highly trained and certified medical doctors follows the guidelines established by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). We are dedicated to delivering compassionate, comprehensive, cost-effective, and high-quality care. Whether you are experiencing a low-risk pregnancy or a high-risk one, our team of specialists possesses the expertise needed to safeguard both your health and the well-being of your newborn.

Routine prenatal ultrasounds performed during regular prenatal visits are included. Please note that we do not provide VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) services. We recommend that you obtain a medical summary of your prenatal care from your regular healthcare provider.

Hospital Experience

The service includes a private suite with a one-day hospital stay for a vaginal delivery or up to two days for a cesarean section. The hospital features a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), providing immediate specialized care for newborns when needed. Additionally, the hospital’s medical team is committed to ensuring high standards of safety and comfort for both mother and baby.

If an extended stay is required, additional fees apply: $900 per day for mothers requiring additional monitoring and $1,300 per day for babies requiring specialized care. The hospitalization also includes the professional fee for one epidural. To qualify for self-pay pricing, hospital registration must be completed prior to the expected delivery date.

Tests and Medical Exams

To ensure a smooth and cost-effective delivery process in the United States, certain medical tests are required. To avoid redundant testing and additional expenses, we recommend bringing these prenatal tests from your home country.

If any required laboratory tests are missing, they must be completed in El Paso, Texas. If test results indicate that additional laboratory testing is medically necessary to evaluate the well-being of the patient or baby, those tests will be ordered as appropriate. Although this is uncommon, any additional testing would represent an additional expense for the patient and is not included in the childbirth price quote. Upon admission to the hospital for delivery, a series of additional tests will also be conducted at a separate cost of $200.

Pediatric Service

Following delivery, a board-certified pediatrician will perform a comprehensive examination of your baby. During your hospital stay, you may schedule your child’s circumcision for an additional fee of $450. If you are interested in this procedure, you must inform the pediatrician during the baby’s examination. In the case of a cesarean delivery, an additional neonatology fee of $610 applies.
